The charge of the AACN/AONL Academic-Practice Advisory Committee is as follows:
- Evaluate emerging challenges impacting the health professions workforce.
- Create a comprehensive guidance document outlining the current state of academic practice partnerships that provide exemplary examples of innovation, financial strategies, and leadership to inform the profession.
- Develop two strategic priorities aimed at strengthening academic-practice partnerships.
This committee, composed of dyads of academic and practice leaders, is being convened to discuss issues and opportunities for collaboration among academic and practice leaders to advance a shared vision for integrating education and practice, leading through our collective strength.
