Access, Connection, and Engagement Leadership Network (ACELN)

members at the ACE Symposium Conference

The Access, Connection, and Engagement Leadership Network (ACELN) serves as a convening body that brings together expertise, experience, and guidance to support academic nursing in advancing strategies that enhance access, strengthen connection, and promote engagement in higher education.

Who Should Join?

Membership in ACELN is open to all faculty, deans, and staff with an interest in advancing excellence in academic nursing.  The network connects change-makers who share the values and goals of Access, Connection, and Engagement (ACE). It is especially relevant to those responsible for creating environments that remove barriers, foster authentic relationships, and shape academic nursing communities where every individual is heard and respected.

Why Join?

The ACELN supports the efforts of AACN member institutions and academic nursing at the local, regional, and national levels to advance diversity and inclusion. These efforts include, but are not limited to:

  • Sharing evidence-based promising practices
  • Engaging with the membership
  • Providing consultative services
  • Convening networking forums

The goal of ACELN is to align its efforts with the strategic access, connection, and engagement goals of AACN and the larger nursing community.
